Using JSXGraph for diagrams and interactivity

In this session I will demonstrate various ways of using JSXGraph to enhance computer-aided assessment questions. JSXGraph provides a way to plot functions and produce interactive geometry applets, using JavaScript code. I will draw heavily on examples from the fully-online course that I teach, Fundamentals of Algebra and Calculus. These questions are written in STACK, which has built-in support for embedding JSXGraph in questions, but many of the ideas will translate to other systems. In particular, I will show how to create graphs that adjust to random parameters in the question. I will also show examples of questions where students give their answer by dragging points on an interactive JSXGraph diagram.
