Maths assessment for financial literacy programmes in newly industrialised countries - The power of a graph database

The presentation will present a case study based on a project with an NGO in Indonesia. The requirement is for a mobile first, data light platform, but also a personalised learning journey. We have developed a ‘super-curriculum’ that backtracks to core numeracy abilities and an initial assessment that presents a range of contextualised numeracy questions designed to test number knowledge and skills. We have utilised a graph database to allow for an element of machine learning and reduced cost to the education providers
